Mike and his hard-working crew did a great job re-piping my water lines and replacing my failing sewer connection. When the city inspector came by and we were looking at all the work in the basement, he exclaimed, “Wow, you did everything!” — which I took as confirmation that the job was thorough and professionally done.

Mike also let me add a couple of extra items to the job, which gave me something visible to appreciate in addition to all the work behind the walls and underground. They installed my ELPO Smart Japanese-style toilet, something I had been wanting ever since my three-week trip to Fukuoka, Japan last year. They also relocated my RO water filtration system to a much more accessible location for routine filter replacement.

All in all, they were a friendly, professional, hard-working crew who managed to work around my two small dogs without any problems. Highly recommended.

This is a scene from the Plumbing Project from Hell. It involved our century-old historic home, an adjacent historic home, a caved-in sewer line and two broken water lines ... all involving the two historic houses, a busy city street, sidewalk and massive stone retaining wall from around 1910. This project would not have been successfully completed without 'Mikey' Healy's knowledge of plumbing infrastructure and his creative brilliance in how to get the job done. Two of the area's larger plumbing companies were stymied but Mikey saved the day by coming up with the repair plan and was able to get the necessary cooperation from Oregon City Public Works as well. His attention to detail, pricing, and customer comfort was extraordinary throughout this difficult emergency project. When I learned recently that Mikey had launched Midtown Plumbing I decided to write a positive review because this guy knows his stuff, gets the job done against all odds, and somehow remains cheerful throughout it all. Keep Midtown Plumbing in mind for jobs big and small. I know I will!
